Not every word needs the same review schedule. Daizy uses the FSRS spaced-repetition algorithm to schedule each word, then brings the words due for review into your daily quiz.
FSRS estimates memory stability and word difficulty from your review history.
- Your recall becomes the starting point.
Your Again, Hard, Good, or Easy rating joins your previous review history to inform the next review.
- FSRS schedules each word.
The algorithm considers the time since your last review and the word’s memory state to calculate when you should see it again.
- Due words become your daily quiz.
Words due by today come together in your quiz, with the earliest due dates first. Each review updates the next scheduled date.
Words added today can enter your daily quiz from tomorrow. Once created, today’s quiz stays set for the day.
